Introduction: This new and unique LED stainless frame has been designed for the ZR1 hood window and is a relatively
basic accessory to install however it is recommended that it be professionally installed. It is designed for the
illumination of the polycarbonate window and the underside of the hood panel as well. A true custom accessory
combining the high quality of stainless steel with state of the art premium LED illumination. Switch is not included!
Liner Information: Your new accessories will come to you with a protective surface liner. Leave this liner in place until
the installation is complete to prevent finger prints and or possible scratches during installation.
TECH NOTE: Before you perform any part of this installation test the LED frame to make sure the LED kit is working
properly. Test it by connecting it directly to the battery, red to positive and black to negative.
1. It is recommended that you remove the hood panel from its hinges. Using a fine marker draw the four bolt head
locations directly on the hinge plate. This will allow you to set the hood exactly in its original position when reinstalling
the hood. The removal of the hood is a three man procedure, two to hold both sides of the hood and one to unbolt the
hood from its frame. Prepare a sturdy table with a soft blanket to receive the hood .With the hood safely set on the
table, underside facing up you will now be able to proceed to perform the installation. The first step will be to
thoroughly scrub clean the outer portion of the polycarbonate window with alcohol to remove any road grime and dirt.
Then swipe the outer ledge with the adhesive promoter provided.
