Introduction

Overview

This manual provides installation and operating instructions for the
9034 Input Processing Analog to Digital Video Converter with Audio
Embedding and Frame Sync and Dolby

Decoding Option card (also referred

to herein as the 9034).

Note:

This manual also covers the 9034-DEC, which is the 9034 card equipped with
Dolby

decoding as an option. Where applicable, descriptions related exclu-

sively to either the 9034 or the 9034-DEC are respectively denoted by (9034
only) or (9034-DEC only). In all other aspects, both the 9034 and 9034-DEC
function identically as described in this manual.

This manual consists of the following chapters:

Chapter 1, “Introduction” – Provides information about this manual
and what is covered. Also provides general information regarding the
9034.

Chapter 2, “Installation and Setup” – Provides instructions for
installing the 9034 in a frame, and optionally installing 9034 Rear I/O
Modules.

Chapter 3, “Operating Instructions” – Provides overviews of
operating controls and instructions for using the 9034.
