Installation in Concrete Foundation
Concrete Knock-out
1. When constructing the concrete foundation, form a knock-out for the unload as shown in Figure 4H
on Page 15 . This is the prefered method of installing the unload in concrete. When installed in this
manner unloads can be removed at a later date.
2. Cross section of foundation knock-out.
a. Center the unload in the bin foundation.
b. Anchor to the bottom of the knock-out with concrete anchor bolts (not provided).
c. Install floor flanges over the gates.
d. Use wood or metal planking to cover exposed unload between gates.
