7 Setup with PACTware
7.1 Connect the PC
As an alternative to the setup via display and adjustment module,
the parameter adjustment is also possible via PC. For connection
you need the VEGACONNECT 4 interface converter. This converter
can be inserted into PLICSRADIO R62 instead of the display and
adjustment module. The connection to the PC is carried out via the
USB interface. The parameter adjustment of the radio-accessible
PLICSRADIO T61/T62 as well as the connected sensors can also be
carried out via this connection. Further information can be found in the
operating instructions manual of VEGACONNECT 4.
Note:
The adjustment of the sensors connected to T61/T62 is only possible
when the processing unit C62 is not yet connected to R62.

7.2 Parameter adjustment with PACTware
As an alternative to the integrated display and adjustment unit, the
adjustment can be also carried out via a Windows PC. For this, the
configuration software PACTware and a suitable instrument driver
(DTM) according to the FDT standard are required. The current PACT-
ware version as well as all available DTMs are compiled in a DTM
Collection. Furthermore, the DTMs can be integrated into other frame
applications compliant with the FDT standard.
Note:
To ensure that all instrument functions are supported, you should
always use the latest DTM Collection. Furthermore, not all described
functions are included in older firmware versions. You can download
