RST40 Product Design Changes – ABIB-0510R3
CARRIER & CAP CHANGE:
The new RST40 carrier & cap is unique in its design. The casting number located on the outside edge of the carrier
makes it visibly easy in identifying the old and new design carriers. Two new Carrier/Cap service kits have been released,
part numbers
514063 and 514064.
The 514063 kit listed below is the standard Carrier/Cap Service Kit for models built
AFTER April 1, 2005. The
514064
kit is a “Carrier/Cap Conversion Kit” that includes other parts needed to convert
original design models.
CARRIER TO HOUSING FASTENERS:
The new RST40 carrier and cap is designed with thick flange bosses, which requires different housings fasteners
compared to the old design. The individual fasters and service kits for both the OLD and NEW designs are listed below.
