NOTE 1: On June 3, 2002, the design of the carrier mounting flange changed. The new carrier’s are designed with a “Thick Flange”. Carriers designed
with a “Thick Flange” require the use of “long” capscrews. The fastening hardware for these models can be found on pages 23-24 of this IPL. Refer to
Dana bulletin ABIB-0210R1 for further details.
