2. INSTALLATION
2.1 Unpacking
Unpack and inspect the product to make sure that all components have been included. The CKW Base package
includes the following:
• CKW Base • Weighing Pan • Warranty Card • Instruction Manual
When purchased as a complete CKW scale, will also include:
• CKW-55 Indicator • Column Assembly
Check to ensure the product was not damaged during shipping. Immediately inform your OHAUS dealer in the
unlikely event that you find damaged or missing parts.
Save the packaging material. Re-pack the product using original packaging materials to ensure safe storage or
transport.
2.2 Assembly
2.2.1 Weighing Pan
Place the weighing pan securely over the rubber load pads on the top plate of the base (first ensure that all load
pads are seated fully in their respective mounting holes).
2.2.2 Wiring Connections
Connect the load cell cable to an indicator using the wiring codes in Tables 2-1 and 2-2 below. Refer to the
indicator manual for information about load cell connections, setup and calibration.
Note: When purchased as a CKW scale, the base is already pre-wired to the CKW-55 Indicator.
