4 - 1/2 x1 ” Bolts, Nuts & Washers 1 - Passenger side frame bracket
1 - Instructions
Installing the Bar
NOTE - Some 2006 trucks have a plastic filler panel bolted
to the frame that must be removed for the installation of the
light bar brackets.
1. Locate the front tow hooks.
2. Remove the inside nut and lower bolt from
each tow hook.
3. Position the appropriate bracket on the
passenger side frame rail as shown in photo
A below with the rounded end ear of the
bracket forward and up.
4. Duplicate the procedure for the drivers side
bracket.
5. Tighten the bolts and nuts on both sides.
6. Insert the light bar brackets through the openings
in the plastic valance panel with the light bar
bracket to the outside of the frame bracket
previously mounted.
7. Match the two holes in the light bar bracket with the
two holes in the frame bracket.
8. Insert the bolts supplied through the mating holes,
apply the lock washers and hand tighten the nuts.
9. Adjust the light bar so the light tabs are parallel to
the body lines of the truck. (It may be necessary to
tighten the bolts a bit more than hand tighten so the
bar will hold its position while adjusting.)
10. Tighten all nuts and bolts.
You’re DONE! - - - - - - - Install your KC lights and enjoy.
