Configuration
Use the Configure menu to configure general unit settings.
Use the Menu screen on various chart screens to configure chart-
specific information.
Configuring System Settings
From the Home screen, touch
Configure

Simulator—turn Simulator Mode
on
or
off

to set Simulator options.
• Speed—enter the speed of your boat in simulator mode, and

to allow the chartplotter to
set the heading automatically, or touch

heading manually.
• Set position—select the simulated position of your boat, and

• Set time—enter the simulated time, and touch

Language—touch the on-screen language.
Keyboard Layout—select

for a layout similar to a
computer keyboard, or select

for an alphabetical layout.
Beeper/Display—set beeper and display options.

to set when the unit makes audible
sounds. The settings are

• Display—touch

to open the display menu.
◦ Backlight Slider—adjust the intensity of the backlight.
◦ Color Mode—touch

automatically adjust the colors.
◦ Volume—adjust the volume levels.
• Screenshot Capture—toggle the screenshot capture feature on
and off. With the screenshot capture on, touch and hold
Home
on any screen to take a screenshot. The screenshot is saved to an
inserted SD card.
• Audio out—set to High-Z for best sound quality if your stereo
has a high-impedance input. If you are experiencing audio
distortion, try toggling this setting between Low-Z and High-Z
to improve audio performance.
• Calibrate touch Screen—touch the dots as they appear to
calibrate the touchscreen.
