Each time you turn on the device,
you must enter the PIN or drive to
the security location.
retrieving Your PIn
If you forget your PIN and your
security location, you must send your
device to Garmin to get it unlocked.
You must also send a valid product
registration or proof of purchase.
About the Security Location
Your security location should be a
location you return to often, such as
your home. If the device has satellite
signals and you are at the security
location, you do not need to enter
the PIN.
Calibrating the Screen
If the touchscreen is not responding
properly, calibrate the touchscreen.
1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the upper-left
corner of the screen.
3. Turn on the device.
4. Continue pressing the upper-left
corner of the screen for about
30 seconds, until the calibration
page appears.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
