To reduce tipping hazard, confine all inverted activities to smooth movements.
Aggressive exercises that involve vigorous body movement can cause the table
to tip over, resulting in serious injury or death!

Full Inversion
Inversion: Hanging completely upside down by your ankles with your back free from
the table bed.
• Press the Rotation Adjustment Button in the direction of your head and rotate
completely upside down until the table bed stops against the Crossbar. Allow your back
to relax and hang freely from the table bed (Figure 9). You’ll have freedom of movement
for stretching and exercise.
•
DO NOT
attempt this step until you are comfortable with partial inversion.
Moving While Inverted is Helpful
• Add gentle stretching and light exercises only after you are comfortable with inversion
(Figure 10). Movement while inverted may help make inversion a more comfortable
experience and may help joints to realign and muscles to stretch and relax.
• Movement may be accomplished either by intermittent traction or by stretching and
exercise.
• Intermittent Traction consists of 1-2 minutes inverted and 1/2 a minute up, to be
repeated at angles and a duration that are comfortable for you.
• Stretching can be done at partial inversion (torso rotation) or at full inversion (torso
rotation, back extension and flexion).
• Exercise should only be performed in the fully inverted position. Crunches, full-range
sit-ups and squats are an ideal way to strengthen muscles with virtually no loads to
your joints.
• Keep elbows close to the body while exercising to avoid impact with the Rear Frame
(Figure 11).
DO NOT
use weights, elastic bands or any other exercise or stretching
device while on the inversion table.
Returning Upright
• To return upright, press the Rotation Adjustment Button in the direction of your feet
(Figure 8 on previous page) and rotate back to the upright position.
Keep elbows clear of the Rear Frame when returning upright in order to avoid catching
your arm between the Rear Frame and the table bed while the table rotates (Figure 10).
•
DO NOT
attempt to dismount from the inversion table until you have stopped rotating.
• Rest at the horizontal position for a moment prior to returning to the upright position.
• Do not lift head or try to sit-up while inversion table is moving.
Emergency Power Outage Directions
• If a power failure occurs, please remain calm.
• Reach for the emergency crank attached to the motor housing.
• Insert the emergency crank into the hole on the motor housing and turn the crank
counter clockwise
(Figure 12) to rotate the table upright.
IMPORTANT: Ensure that the Emergency Crank is
NOT
engaged in the motor during
normal use.
