Installing or Replacing the Batteries
Your meter is shipped with two 3-volt lithium
batteries that need to be installed before testing.
Battery life will vary depending on usage, so always
keep spares on hand.
Acceptable replacement batteries are:
Duracell DL 2450 Sanyo CR 2450
The meter saves battery power by automatically
turning off after 5 minutes of non-use. If the meter
does automatically shut off, any tests in memory are
saved.
When replacing batteries, always replace
both at the same time and both should be of the
same brand. Time and date will need to be reset
when batteries are replaced.
