Recording to the Chord Track
A special Chord track is provided for recording accompaniment data. This is
automatically recorded to the Chord track (track A). Selecting the Chord
track automatically turns on the accompaniment.
■
Recording to a Melody Track (1 - 5)
Five independent Melody tracks are provided for recording your keyboard
performance. Normally, you’ll want to record these after you’ve recorded
the Chord track. You can also record the Chord track and one of the Melody
tracks simultaneously.

• Keep in mind that all recording
operations “replace” the data.
In other words, if you record to
a track that already has
recorded data, all previous
data in the track will be erased
and replaced by the newly
recorded data.
• If accompaniment has already
been turned on before entering
the Record mode, the Chord
track is automatically selected.
