10. Close the printhead by pressing down at both arrows.
11. Close the top cover and turn on the printer or press the feed button if
the printer is already on (see “Auto Calibration” on page 25 for more
information).
Removing the Ribbon
1. Open the printhead.
2. Cut the ribbon below the ribbon take-up spindle (refer to Figure 29).
3. Remove the roll of unused ribbon.
Hint: Tape the end of the ribbon to prevent the roll from
unwrapping.
4. Remove the ribbon take-up spindle. Remove and discard the spent
ribbon from the core.
5. Keep the core for future use.
