■ Aspect (Aspect)
Use this feature to select the aspect ratio for the output
image converted using the video processing circuit.
Manual Setup > Video > Aspect
Choices:
Through , Auto, 16:9 Normal, 16:9 Zoom
• Through: Does not change the aspect ratio of the
input video signal in any way.
• Auto: Automatically detects the aspect ratio of the
input video signal and chooses the most appropriate
setting automatically.
• 16:9 Normal: Adds black bars to the left and right
sides of the input video signal before outputting it to
the TV. Use to watch 4:3 software on a 16:9 TV.
• 16:9 Zoom: Cuts off the top and bottom of the input
video signal before outputting it to the TV. Use to
watch 4:3 letter boxed software on a 16:9 TV.
