The remote controls transmit directional infrared beams.
Be sure to aim the remote controls directly at the remote
control sensor on the main unit during operation.
■ Handling the remote controls
• Do not spill water or other liquids on the remote
controls.
• Do not drop the remote controls.
• Do not leave or store the remote controls in the
following types of conditions:
– high humidity such as near a bath
– high temperature such as near a heater or stove
– extremely low temperatures
– dusty locations
