Notes
• The settings of DSP and VOLUME, BASS, TREBLE and

BALANCE have no effect on the material being recorded.

• Composite video and S video signals pass independently

through this unit’s video circuits. Therefore, when recording
or dubbing video signals, if your video source unit is con-
nected to provide only an S video (or only a composite video)
signal, you can record only an S video (or only a composite
video) signal on your VCR.

• A source that is connected to this unit only through the digital

terminals cannot be recorded on a tape deck, MD recorder or
VCR connected to this unit.

• A source of signals input to the EXTERNAL DECODER

INPUT terminals of this unit cannot be recorded.

• Please check the copyright laws in your country to record

from records, compact discs, radio, etc. Recording of
copyright material may infringe copyright laws.

If you watch video software that uses scrambled or encoded
signals to prevent it from being dubbed, there may be a case
that the picture itself will be affected by those signals.
