Open the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog

From the desktop, open the Control Panel, then double-
click Network Connections.

Double-click the Local Area Connection icon.

Select the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) entry (it should
include “TCP/IP” in it, but not “AOL,” “Dial-up,” or
“Adapter”) and click the Properties button.

Ensure that Use the following IP address is selected and
enter 10.0.0.100 and 255.255.255.0 as the IP address and
Subnet mask, respectively.
