AV (SCART) jack

This jack transmits conventional composite
video signal. Connect this jack to your AV
amplifier so that you can switch the both
audio and video inputs at once.

This jack transmits color and luminance
separately and achieves high quality color
reproduction. Connect this jack to your
television using a commercially available S-
Video cable. If your AV amplifier is equipped
with S VIDEO input and output jacks,
connect to the AV amplifier so that you can
switch both audio and video inputs at once.

This SCART jack can output RGB
component signals and provides the best
quality picture. Connect this jack to your
television.

Change “Video—AV Output” (

page 18).
