Requesting Assistance or
Service

Before calling for assistance or service, please check “Troubleshooting” on pages 45-46. It
may save you the cost of a service call. If you still need help, follow the instructions below.

and talk with one of our trained

consultants. The consultant can instruct you
in how to obtain satisfactory operation from
your appliance or, if service is necessary,
recommend a qualified service company in
your area.

with how the problem
was solved …

Action Program (MACAP). MACAP is a
group of independent consumer experts
that voices consumer views at the highest
levels of the major appliance industry.

Contact MACAP only when the dealer,
authorized servicer, and Whirlpool have
failed to resolve your problem.
