Recording a Personal Greeting
Your.answerng.system.comes.wth.a.pre-recorded.outgong.message.or.greetng.that.plays.when.you.receve.a.
call:.“Hello,.no.one.s.avalable.to.take.your.call..Please.leave.a.message.after.the.tone.”.You.can.record.your.own.
personal.outgong.greetng..Your.recorded.greetng.must.be.between.two.seconds.and.thrty.seconds.long.
On.the.base,.press.[Menu/Select]..Select.the.ANSW..SETUP.menu,.and.then.the.RECORD.GREETING.
submenu.
RECORD.GREETING,.START.[SELECT].appears..Press.[Menu/Select].to.start.the.recordng..Begn.recordng.
after.the.announcement.
The.message counter.on.the.base.LCD.dsplays.“30”,.and.then.begns.to.count.down.
When you finish recording, press [Menu/Select].agan.or.press.[

. You will hear a confirmation tone, and
your.recorded.greetng.plays.back.for.you.
Selecting a Greeting
Once.you.have.recorded.a.personal.greetng,.the.phone.automatcally.swtches.to.your.personal.greetng..You.can.
also.swtch.back.and.forth.between.the.pre-recorded.greetng.and.your.own.greetng.at.any.tme.
On.the.base,.press.[Menu/Select]..Select.the.ANSW..SETUP.menu,.and.then.the.GREETING.OPTIONS.

To.swtch.to.the.other.greetng,.press.[ ].or.[ ].on.the.four-way.functon.key.whle.the.system.s.playng.the.
current.greetng.
Each.tme.you.press.[ ].or.[ ],.the.system.swtches.between.the.pre-recorded.and.the.personal.greetng..
The.last.greetng.you.hear.s.used.as.the.current.greetng.
