Setting Up the Phonebook
Your.handset.and.base.can.store.up.to.seventy.names.and.numbers.n.your.phonebook..When.all.the.phonebook.
entres.are.full,.you.wll.hear.a.beep.and.MEMORY.FULL.appears..You.cannot.store.any.addtonal.names.and.
numbers.unless.you.delete.some.of.the.exstng.ones.
You.can.also.use.the.phonebook.entres.to.store.a.group.of.numbers.(up.to.twenty.dgts).that.you.may.need.to.enter.

Creating Phonebook Entries
To.store.names.and.numbers.n.your.phonebook,.please.follow.these.steps:
When.the.phone.s.n.standby.mode,.press.[ ].(on.the.left.sde.of.the.four-way.key).
To.create.a.new.phonebook.entry,.press.[Menu/Select]..Select.the.
CREATE.NEW.menu..EDIT.NAME.appears..
Enter the name for this entry (EDIT NAME)..
Use.the.keypad.to.enter.a.name.for.ths.entry;.the.name.can.contan.up.to.sxteen.characters..(See.Enterng.
Text.from.Your.Phone.on.page.0.for.nstructons.on.enterng.text.).If.you.do.not.want.to.enter.a.name.for.ths.
entry,.your.phone.wll.store.ths.entry.as...Press.[Menu/Select]
when you are finished.
Enter the number for this entry (EDIT NUMBER).
Once.you.have.stored.a.name,.EDIT.NUMBER.appears.next..Use.the.
number.keypad.to.enter.the.phone.number;.the.phone.number.can.contan.
up.to.twenty.dgts..If.you.need.the.phone.to.pause.between.dgts.when.t’s.
dalng.(for.example,.to.enter.an.extenson.or.an.access.code),.press.[Redial/
Pause].to.nsert.a.two-second.pause..You.wll.see.a.P.n.the.dsplay..You.can.
also.use.more.than.one.pause.together.f.two.seconds.s.not.long.enough..
Each.pause.counts.as.one.dgt..Press.[Menu/Select]
