Installing the Phone
DSL Filter
Do.you.have.DSL.or.any.hgh-speed.Internet.servce.delvered.through.
your.phone.lne?
Try putting a DSL filter between the base and the wall jack. Without a filter, .

Testing the Connection
Try.makng.a.call..If.your.call.does.not.connect.or.you.cannot.get.a.dal.tone,.try.the.followng.steps:
Make.sure.the.AC.adapter.cord.s.securely.connected.to.the.DC IN 9V.jack.and.a.standard.power.outlet.
Check.to.make.sure.the.battery.s.fully.charged..(If.you.don’t.see.the.“battery.full”.con,.check.to.make.sure.

Change.the.dal.mode.
Changing the Dial Mode
Your.phone.can.communcate.wth.the.telephone.network.n.two.dfferent.ways:.tone.dalng.or.pulse.dalng..These.
days,.most.base.networks.use.a.method.called.tone.dalng,.so.your.phone.comes.programmed.for.tone.dalng..If.
your.phone.company.uses.pulse.dalng,.you.wll.need.to.change.your.phone’s.dal.mode..If.you.don’t.get.a.dal.tone.
or.can’t.connect.to.the.telephone.network,.please.follow.the.steps.below.to.modfy.your.phone’s.settngs:
Press.[Menu/Select]..Select.the.GLOBAL.SETUP.menu,.and.then.the.
DIAL.MODE.submenu.
Scroll.[ ].to.hghlght.PULSE.
Press.[Menu/Select]
. You will hear a confirmation tone.
