DirectLink Mode
Entering the Two Way Communication between the Handsets
Anywhere without the Base
1) Enter the “DirectLink Mode” menu (see “Entering the Menu” on page 15).
2) Press the
ENTER soft key to enter the DirectLink
mode . You will hear a confirmation tone, and
“DirectLink Mode Complete” appears.
3) To return back to the normal mode, exit the DirectLink
mode. To exit the DirectLink mode, press the CANCEL
soft key, then the OK soft key, or return the handset to the cradle.
Handset Setup
Setting a Ringer Volume
1) Enter the “Handset Setup” menu, then the “Ringer Volume” submenu
(see “Entering the Menu” on page 15).
2) Press / ▲ or ▼ to adjust the ringer settings
(Ringer Volume Off, Ringer Volume Low, or
Ringer Volume High
). You will hear a ringer or
melody at the Selected volume (if you select “Ringer
Volume Off
”, no ringer or melody will sound).
3) Press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.
