Step 3 Connect to Phone Line
When the handset battery pack
is fully charged after 15-20
hours of charging, plug the
telephone cord into the base
unit and then into a telephone
wall jack.
Your phone is set for tone
dialing. If your local network
requires pulse dialing, refer to
page 27.

Step 5 Setting Up the Answering System
TO TURN THE ANSWERING SYSTEM ON/OFF
Each time ans on/off is pressed, the answering machine
switches between on and off.
TO SET GREETING MESSAGE
Press and hold greeting
until voice prompt
“record greeting” plays.
Position yourself near the
base mic, and begin
recording your greeting.
When finished recording,
press
greeting or play/stop .
Your greeting will playback
for confirmation.
