Editing or Erasing a Stored Name, Phone
Number, Distinctive Ring and Speed Dial
1) When the phone is in standby mode, press .
To delete all phonebook locations, press /vol/ ∧ or
/vol/ ∨ to select De le t e A ll , and press select/ /
audio tone. De l et e A ll ? appears. Use /vol/ ∧ or /
vol/ ∨ to select Y es , and then press select/ /audio
tone. You will hear a confirmation tone.
2) Press /vol/ ∧ or /vol/ ∨ to select D ia l /E d it , and then press
select/ /audio tone.
3) Use /vol/ ∧ or /vol/ ∨ or the number keypad to select desired phonebook
entry (see "Viewing the Phonebook" on page 39).
4) When you have found the desired phonebook entry, Press select/ /audio tone
to edit the entry.
To delete the entry, press menu/clear and
/vol/ ∧ or /vol/ ∨ to select Y es ,
and then press select/ /audio tone.
5) If you are deleting the entry, you will hear a confirmation tone, and D e le t ed !
appears in the display.
If you are editing the entry, follow the steps 4 to 9 under "Phonebook (Storing
and Editing Phone Numbers, Names, Distinctive Rings, and Speed Dial)" on
page 35 to complete the editing operation.
