The thermal paper used for direct thermal
printing must not have the specifications
which exceed Ca
++ 800 ppm, Na + 800
ppm, K + 800 ppm and CL - 600 ppm.
•
Some ink used on pre-printed labels
may contain components which shorten
the print head's product life. Do not use
labels pre-printed with ink which contains
hard substances such as carbonic
calcium (CaCO
3
) and kaolin (Al
2
O
3
,
2SiO
2
, 2H
2
O).
