The VCR can be programmed to automatically rewind the tape when the tape reaches its end.
How to Set to Auto Rewind at End of Tape

1 Press the DISPLAY
button.
Note:
i Alarm recording does not operate during auto-rewind.
2 Press the or
SHIFT button to blink
SETUP and press the +
SET button.
3 Press the or
SHIFT button to blink
TAPE END MODE.
4 Press the + or – SET
button to select REW
→
STOP.
5 Press the DISPLAY
button twice to erase the
display.
i When tape end is detected during recording, the tape
automatically rewinds and stops at beginning of the tape.
Caution:
If you need the VCR to Auto Rewind even if an alarm condi-
tion occurred then set TAPE END ALARM to “CONT.” in the
MENU SCREEN.
