Lesson 11: Setting the date and time

HINT: To open the Date and Time Properties dialog box more
quickly, either click the time display on the taskbar with the
secondary button, then click Adjust Date and Time, or double-
click the time display.
4 Click the Date & Time tab and set the correct month,
year, day, and time.
5 Click the Time zone tab, then the drop-down list box and
set your time zone.
6 Click OK.
There is a third tab, Internet Time, which when selected
allows you to have Windows
® XP automatically synchronize
your time. However, you need to be connected to the Internet
for this function to work.
