The Print Quality tab permits setting the gray scale, TrueType font, Smoothing, and Toner Save print
quality options.
This control screen differs depending upon whether the PCL6 printer driver or the PostScript printer
driver is being used.

1 Gray Scale
This sets how to print gray scale images.
• Lighter - Select this to print gray scale lighter.
• Standard - Select this to print gray scale using the standard density.
• Darker - Select this to print gray scale darker.
• Manual Settings - Select this to manually set the gray scale settings. When this is selected, click on [Gray Scale
Settings] to manually set the brightness or darkness of gray scale.
[Gray Scale Settings]
Click on this to set manually the brightness or darkness of gray scale. This button is only available when “Manual Settings”
is selected at the Gray Scale drop down box. When this is clicked, the Gray Scale Settings dialog box appears. Set the
brightness or darkness of gray scale using the scroll bar and click on [OK] to save manual gray scale settings.
