/ Device Menu
Memory Select
When an microSD card is inserted you
can select to record to either the built-in
memory or to the microSD card (☞ P.22).
[Built-in Memory]:Built-in memory.
[microSD Card]:microSD card.
Changing Power Save [Power Save]
Forgetting to turn the power off can be
prevented. If the recorder remains in stop
mode for over 10 minutes (Initial setting)
while the power is turned on, the power will
be turned off.
[5minutes] [10minutes] [30minutes]
[1hour]:
Set the length of time before the power will
be turned off.
[Off]:
Disables this function.
• If any button is pressed, the elapsed time
count before the power turns off will start
over again.
Changing Folder Names [Folder Name]
You can change the folder names of Folder A
to Folder E for audio recording into names
preset in the template. You can also change
folder names registered in the template with
"Olympus Sonority".
[Settings]:
Sets a folder name from the preset
template.
Time & Date
Refer to “Setting time and date [Time &
Date]” (☞ P.20).
USB Class [USB Settings]
Refer to “Changing the USB Class [USB
Settings]” (☞ P.69).
Reset Settings
This returns the functions back to their initial
settings (factory default).
[Start]:
Returns the settings to their initial values.
[Cancel]:
Takes you back to the [Device Menu].
• After resetting the settings, the time
settings and file numbers will be
preserved from before the reset and will
not return to their initial settings.
