Measurements in the following groups of people may vary due to consistently
changing amounts of water and tissue density within their bodies:
Children in a growth stage
Elderly people and
post-menopausal women
People who have swelling
Patients with osteoporosis
who have very
low bone density
Bodybuilders or professional atheltes
Patients undergoing dialysis
People with a fever
