Customizing camera settings

Camera settings can be customized using the custom and accessory menus.
The
c Custom menu is used to fi ne-tune camera settings. The # Accessory Port
menu is used to adjust settings for accessory port devices.
Before Using the Custom/Accessory Port Menus
The Custom and Accessory Port menus are only available when the appropriate option is
selected for the [
c/# Menu Display] item in the setup menu.
1 Press the
MENU button to display the menus.
2 Select the d setup menu tab (P. 80) using
FG and press I.
3 Select [
c/# Menu Display] using FG and
press
I.
4 Select the desired menu using
FG and press
I.
5 Select [On] using
FG and press Q.
The selected menu will be displayed. •

Option Description

AF Mode Choose the AF mode. 36
Full-time AF If [On] is selected, the camera will continue to focus even
when the shutter button is not pressed halfway.

AF Area Choose the AF target mode. 37
P Set Up
Choose the roles played by the dials and arrow pad during
AF target selection.

Reset Lens When set to [On], this resets the focus of the lens (infi nity)
each time the power is turned off.

Bulb Focusing Normally focus locks during the exposure when manual
focus (MF) is selected. Select [On] to allow focusing using
the focus ring.
