Inserting Batteries
1 Slide open the battery cover.
2 Insert two AAA alkaline batteries, observing the
correct polarity.
3 Close the battery cover completely.

Note
The hour indicator will flash automatically when you insert batteries before
using the recorder for the first time, or after the recorder hasn’t been
used for a long time. Adjust the time by following Steps 1 to 2 in “Setting
Time/Date” (

P.12, 13).
