Zooming

You can zoom in and out for close ups or wide-angle shots just by sliding the zoom
lever on the camcorder. The camcorder can automatically focus when you zoom at
most distances.

Using the Zoom Lever

1. To zoom in or out, slide the zoom

lever on the camcorder or press
ZOOM T or W on the remote.

• To move the lens in the telephoto

(close-up) direction, slide the zoom
lever toward T (press ZOOM T
on remote).

• To move the lens in the wide

angle direction, slide the zoom
lever toward W (press ZOOM W
on remote).

The zoom level indicator appears in the
viewfinder or on the LCD monitor.
