Record a voice memo.
Press the shutter-release button to begin
recording.

Recording ends after 30 seconds or
when the shutter-release button is
pressed halfway. The description list
will be displayed with a $ icon next to
the [Record] option (in playback mode,
[Record] changes to [Playback]).

• Do not obstruct the microphone during
recording. Keep microphone within 20 cm
(7.8 in.) of the source.
• Voice memos are not available with matrix
barcodes. The [Record] option is not displayed
in the description list when a matrix barcode
type is selected.
Playing Voice Memos
Voice memos can only be played back in
playback mode.

Select an item for which a
recording exists.
In the camera memo dialog, press ! or "
to highlight an item marked with a v icon
and press $ to view descriptions for the
highlighted item.
