No dial tone
• Check or repeat installation steps.
• Make sure base power cord is connected to a working electrical outlet.
• Make sure the telephone line cord is connected to the base and the
modular phone jack.
• Connect another phone to the same jack; if there is still no dial tone, the
problem might be your wiring or local service.
• The cordless handset may be out of range of the base. Move closer to
the base.
• Make sure the battery is properly charged (16 hours).
• Make sure the battery pack is installed correctly.
• Did the handset beep when you pressed the talk/callback button? The
battery may need to be charged.
• Place the handset in the charge cradle for at least two minutes to reset.
Handset display " SEARCHING" or "OUT OF RANGE" and cannot link up
with the base when talk/callback is pressed.
• Handset may be out of range of the base. Mover closer to the base.
• Make sure the power supply is properly installed.
• Disconnect the handset battery and plug it in again. Place the handset
on the cradle for at least two minutes.
• Disconnect the power supply and plug it in again.
