RADIO OPERATION
PLAYING THE RADIO
1. Press PWR to turn on the stereo.
2. Press BAND to select the AM or FM
band. AM 1 or AM 2 appears when
you select an AM band. FM 1 , FM
2 , or FM 3 appears when you select
an FM band.
Notes:
• Each time you press BAND , the
radio tunes to the last station
selected in the current band and
memory group (see “Memory
Tuning” on Page 19).
• appears when an FM signal
is received in stereo.
3. Tune to the desired station in one of
the following ways.
Manual Tuning: Repeatedly press
TUNE or TUNE to tune down
or up the selected band.
Seek Tuning: Press SEEK
or SEEK to tune to the next
lower or higher station.
Note: If the stereo does not find a
strong station when seeking, it
searches the band again for weaker
stations. If no station is found, press
TUNE or TUNE to stop the
seek function.
4. Press + or – to increase or decrease
the volume as desired.
