5-6 Setting Up a Remote Connection
Sending and Receiving E-mail
Before configuring the necessary e-mail service information, you need
some or all of the following settings:

POP3 or IMAP4 Host
!
Your user ID
!
Your password, if required
!
SMTP host
!
Your e-mail address.
To send and receive e-mail through your ISP or RAS account, you
must configure the services properties through your Inbox. Follow
these steps to configure the e-mail services information.
1.
Double tap Inbox, tap Services, and tap Options.
2.
On the Services tab, tap Add.
3.
Select the desired service type and enter the service name.
4.
Tap OK.
5.
Enter the information provided by your ISP provider or network
administrator.
The Mail Services Definition screen consists of Required
information and Optional information. Fill in all information as
provided by your ISP or network administrator.

Enter ISP information as follows:
— Either POP3 Host or Server (for IMAP4 mail) — ISP
host/server name
— User
ID
— Your user id
— Password
— Your password, if required
— SMTP
Host
— SMTP Host name
— Return
Address
— Your e-mail address (if in a UNIX
environment
