Roaming options
You can set your device to roam or search for another
network when you are not in your home area.
1. Select Menu > Settings > Network > Roaming options
and one of the following options:
Home only —You can make and receive calls in your home
area only.
Automatic A —The device automatically searches for service
in another digital network. The roaming rate applies
when not in the home service area.
Automatic B —The device automatically searches for service
in another digital network. The roaming rate applies
when not in the home service area.
2. When selecting Home only , select Yes to confirm
the activation.
Roaming alert tones
To activate alert tones to notify you when you are roaming,
select
Menu > Settings > Network > Roaming alert tones .
Roam call alert tones
To activate alert tones for roaming calls, select Menu >
Settings > Network > Roam call alert tones .
Service change tones
To activate alert tones to notify you when service changes
entering a home or roaming area, select
Menu > Settings >
Network > Service change tones .
