Share Printers on Wired or Wireless Networks

NETGEAR's PS111W 802.11b Wireless Ready Print Server provides the ultimate in easy

printer access on home and office networks – wired or wireless. Now you don't even

have to leave your PC on to share the use of your network printer! This versatile desk-

top print server has a card slot for a NETGEAR MA401 Wireless PC Card (sold sepa-

rately), and also works with Ethernet LANs, giving you the freedom to locate your

printer wherever it's most convenient. The PS111W features an easy, Web-based

remote management tool, and works with most laser and inkjet printers equipped

with a parallel port. It boosts your printing output with speeds up to 11 Mbps for wire-

less printing from conference rooms, classrooms and offices, or around your home. It

handles multiple print jobs simultaneously and also gives you a fast, auto-sensing

10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection.

Easily converts from Ethernet to wireless LAN use when you add a NETGEAR 802.11b
MA401 Wireless Card (not included) to the PC Card slot, and it supports both Ad-hoc
mode (point-to-point wireless networks) and Infrastructure mode (using your existing
802.11b Wireless Access Point).

Removes the performance bottleneck of a dedicated, always-on PC to act as the print server
and supports multiple print jobs simultaneously. Gives you a fast, auto-sensing 10/100
Mbps Ethernet connection and delivers up to 11 Mbps wireless printing. Hardware-based,
secure 40/64-bit or 128-bit WEP encryption provides secure data communication across
the network without affecting performance.

Compatible with most printers with a parallel port (including bi-directional printers)
from HP, Canon, Epson, Lexmark, and others. Interoperates with 802.11b Wi-Fi
compliant networks.

Windows-based NETGEAR Print Server software makes it simple to install. You configure
the print server remotely with an easy, Web browser interface. Then you can share a printer
on wired and wireless networks without having to leave your PC on.
