Want to stop your phone from
ringing without answering it?
Simply press
ô
. This keeps you from answering a call
when it’s inconvenient to talk. You can still answer the call
by pressing
í
if &DOO is still flashing on your display.
It’s also great way to screen your calls if you don’t want to
be disturbed. You’ll know who called as soon as your
phone rings if you subscribe to Caller ID. And if you have
Voice Messaging, the call will be forwarded to your voice
mailbox.

To Make A Call
1) Extend the antenna
2) Enter the phone number, include area code if
necessary
3) Press

If the call didn’t go through
It may be because the signal is too weak, in which case
you’ll hear three beeps and the icon disappears from
the display.
It may also be because you have at-
tempted a call to a restricted number
or your phone is locked. If this hap-
pens, you may get the message &$//
127 $//2:(' on your display.

If you make a mistake dialing

to delete the last character, or press and
hold
