28 Postinstallation
Step Action
1 In a Web browser address bar, enter one of the following
addresses:
http://:8282/adminserver
OR
https://:8553/adminserver/
where
is the domain name of the server.
2 At the Web Console log on screen, enter the following default
username and password:
• Username: admin
• Password: password
The username and password are case sensitive.
ATTENTION
Nortel recommends that you change the default password.
3 Click Sign In.

MCG 3100 parameter configuration
You must configure the MCG 3100 parameters to communicate with the
following network elements:
• Enterprise Communications Server (ECS)
• Backup MCG 3100 (if installed)
• Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Server
Use the Configuration window buttons for the following tasks:
• Unlock—unlocks the configuration parameters to enable them to be
updated.
• Lock—locks the configuration parameter fields.
•
Save—saves updates and prompts you to restart the server.
•
Load current values—restores the current server values to the
parameter fields.
