Filter replacement and reset procedure
Filter maintenance
When any of the filters has to be replaced, the speed light under the filter
number concerned and the ‘REPLACE FILTER’ light start to flash. You then
have to replace this filter.
To ensure that the filters are in optimal condition when the appliance
is operating, the appliance is equipped with a lock system. If you do not
replace filter 2, filters 3/4 and/or filters 5/6 for a period of time, the
appliance is locked. When the appliance is locked, it does not operate
and the speed light under the filter number concerned and the REPLACE
FILTER light light up continuously.
Approximately 1 day before the appliance locks, it beeps every 30 minutes
to inform you that one of the filters needs to be replaced.
The time between the flashing lights and the appliance being locked
depends on the usage of the appliance. Normally this period is
about 2 weeks. In case of very frequent use, this period will be
shorter. Therefore we advise you to make sure you obtain a new filter as
soon as you see the lights flashing.
Filter replacement indication
Filter 2: Multi-care filter
- When the speed light under filter number 2 and the REPLACE FILTER
light flash, you have to replace filter 2 (multi-care filter).
- If you do not replace filter 2 within approximately 2 weeks, the
appliance locks and cannot be operated.
Filters 3/4: Activated carbon filter and HEPA filter
- When the speed light under filter number 3/4 and the REPLACE
FILTER light flash, you have to replace both filter 3 (activated
carbon filter) and filter 4 (HEPA filter).
- If you do not replace filters 3/4 after approximately 2 weeks, the
appliance locks and you cannot operate it.
Filters 5/6: Humidification filter and water softener
- When the speed light under filter number 5/6 flash and the
REPLACE FILTER light flash, you have to replace both filter 5
(humidification filter) and filter 6 (water softener).
- If you do not replace filter 5 and 6 after approximately 2 weeks, the
appliance locks and you cannot operate it.
