Clean the water softener under a running tap with the cleaning

brush supplied.

Do not use any other substance than water to clean the water softener.

Wipe the water from the water softener with a soft, dry cloth.

Place the water softener back into the water tank.

Align the two projections of the lid with the holes in the water tank

and put the lid on the water tank. Then close the four clips to lock

the lid (click).

Pre-filter and humidification filter

Note: Only the pre-filter, the humidification filter and the water softener

are washable. All other filters are NOT washable.
Filter 1 (pre-filter) and filter 5 (humidification filter) cleaning

indication

- Clean the pre-filter and descale the humidification filter when the first

speed light (with the indication CLEAN 1/5 above it) flashes to ensure

optimal functioning of the appliance.

- The light flashes approximately once a month, depending on how

frequently you use the appliance.

- The light is a reminder for you to clean the pre-filter and to descale the

humidification filter. It stops flashing automatically after 24 hours.

- The light keeps flashing for 24 hours after you have cleaned the filters.

This is normal.

Cleaning the pre-filter

Clean the pre-filter under a running tap. If the pre-filter is very dirty,

use a soft brush to brush away the dust

Note: Make sure pre-filter is dry before you put it back into the appliance.

Tip: Alternatively, you can clean the pre-filter by removing the dust with a

vacuum cleaner.
Cleaning the humidification filter

You have to rinse the humidification filter every week to keep it hygienically

clean.In addition, you have to descale the humidification filter when the first

speed light (with the indication CLEAN 1/5 above it) flashes.

Rinsing the humidification filter every week:

Remove the humidification filter from the water tank. See chapter

‘Before first use’, section ‘Preparing for humidification’.

Note: You have to remove the water bucket first before you can remove the

water tank.
