Cause and Remedy

You are too far from the base unit.
Move closer and try again.

Raise the base unit antennas.
≥
Plug in the AC adaptor of the base unit.
≥
The cordless handset may lose
communication with the base unit.
Set the security code (p. 60).
≥
Locate the cordless handset and the
base unit away from other electrical
appliances (p. 3).
≥
Move closer to the base unit.
≥
Raise the base unit antennas.
≥
Press

to select a clearer channel in
the talk, intercom or remote operation
mode.

The ringer volume is set to OFF. Set to
HIGH or LOW (p. 20).
