fter you have set the Time, Start
Time, Stop Time, and Start
Channel, the timer must be set to
come on ONCE or DAILY, or
turned OFF through the ACTIVATE
control.
Press the MENU button on the
remote control to show the
onscreen menu.
Press the CURSOR RING
DOWN twice to highlight FEA-
TURES.
Press the CURSOR RING
RIGHT and the menu will shift to
the left. TIMER will be highlight-
ed.
Press the CURSOR RING
RIGHT again to shift the display
to the left. Then press the CUR-
SOR RING DOWN repeatedly
until the ACTIVATE control is
highlighted.
Press the CURSOR RING
RIGHT again to set ACTIVATE to
ONCE; press the CURSOR RING
RIGHT again for DAILY; and
press the CURSOR RING
RIGHT again to toggle ACTIVATE
to OFF.
Press the STATUS/EXIT but-
ton to remove the menu from the
screen.

Remember, before set-
ting the TIMER controls,
the TV’s clock must be set to the
correct time manually (see page
13).
