Display panel symbol/messages
The following symbols/messages may
appear on your recorder display:
00:00
Multifunction display/text line
– Title/track number
– Total/elapsed/remaining title/track time
– Disc/title
name
– Error or warning messages
– Additional information regarding the disc
– TV channel number or source of video
– Clock (This is displayed in Standby mode).
– TV programme title
D
Remote control command for the recorder
has been received.
X TIMER
A timer recording has been programmed or is
active.
! SAT
The recorder is prepared for satellite
recording.
BLOCKED
The disc tray cannot be opened or closed due
to some mechanical obstruction.
CLOSING
Disc tray is closing.
DISC FULL
Disc is full. There is no storage space for new
recordings.
EMPTY
No recordings in the hard disk drive or
recordable DVD.
IS TVON?
The recorder is currently in the basic
installation mode. Turn on your TV and read
chapter ‘Step3: Installation and Set-up’ for
details.
LIVE P_XX
The current live TV channel.
MENU
The disc menu or timer menu display is on.
NO DISC
No disc has been inserted. If a disc has been
inserted, then it is possible that the disc cannot
be read.
NO SIGNAL
No signal or poor signal strength.
OPENING
Disc tray is opening.
READING
Disc is being recognised by the recorder.
STARTING
The recorder has been turned on.
WAIT _XX
Wait until this message disappears. The
recorder is busy processing an operation.
XX indicates the number of found channels,
and is constantly updated.
