8. CAUTIONS
(1) When using the DC power supply, please be aware of the operating
voltage. Make sure that a minimum of 12 Volts can be obtained in
order for the receiver to function properly. However, the supply voltage
should never exceed 15 Volts DC, or the receiver could suffer severe
internal damage. It is recommended that the DC power source be rated
at least 1 Amp.
(2) To ensure maximum sensitivity, use only the proper antennas designed
for Peavey receivers.
(3) Antenna sockets have 8VDC supplied to them for the operation of
boosters if necessary. DO NOT SHORT the antenna connector. Make
ALL connections to the receiver before powering up.
