1. GETTING STARTED
Get to Know Your Polar F4
1. START/STOP/OK:
• Start and stop heart rate measurement
• Enter the menu and confirm selections
• Move back to the main mode from Summary and Totals
• Press and hold to return to Time mode
• Activate the backlight
• Switch the alarm and snooze off
2. NEXT/SET:
• Move in the menu and selection lists to adjust values
• Snooze the alarm for 10 minutes

• Switch the Keylock on/off
• Switch the Target zone alarm on/off in the Exercise mode
The transmitter sends the heart rate signal to the wrist unit. The
transmitter consists of the transmitter unit and elastic strap.
